Suame Constituency: Tailors & Dressmakers Charged To Upgrade Skills To Infiltrate International Market

Dressmakers and tailors in the Suame Constituency in Ashanti region have been advised to continuously upgrade their skills with new innovations in order to attract more customers.

This upgrade according to the Business Mogul Mr. George Prempeh, will make them more skilful and increase the profit they make.
He stated the flooding of imported clothing and dresses coupled with the advent of boutiques is a great challenge dressmakers and tailors should consider.

Mr. George Premepeh was speaking during a courtesy call on dressmakers and tailors to ascertain the challenges they go through in the course of their business and also to teach them how to use their profession to create wealth for themselves.

“Never feel big to learn new things, read more books related to your profession and if you don’t know how to read let someone help you and attend courses and workshops too. Look good yourself and let your trainees or apprentices look good in anything they wear, give then the best of training and your customers the best of counsel? he noted.

He advised them to produce quality and stylish designs and dresses that are standard and world class. He told the dressmakers not limit themselves to producing for their customers only but should go the extra mile by producing for boutiques and shop in in order to get better income.

Mr. Premeph urged the dressmakers to also aim high by crossing the borders of ordinary clients into the international market.
“Do not? hesitate to participate in exhibitions for more exposure and contacts”, he added.
