Accra Hearts of Oak have reported referee Dally Gagba to the review committee of the Ghana football Association, the club Public relations officer Opare Addo has confirmed.
Opare speaking with Kumasi based Kessben FM expressed disappointment over the referee’s performance of the game which ended 1-1.
According to the Accra based football club, referee Dally Gagba’s decision to have awarded a penalty to Asante Kotoko was a wrong call.
“We have reported the referee to the Ghana football Association’s review committee for the committee to have a critical look of his performance.The ball the did not hit our player’s hand but hit the head of the player” Said Opare Addo.
“The performance of the referee was unsatisfactory and we expect the necessary punishments to be melted out on him” He added.
Hearts of Oak after the outstanding game with Asante Kotoko on Sunday have moved to 3rd on the league log with 40 points 4 points separating them from the league leaders Aduana FC having 44 points.
