The First Lady Deserves Commendation : Joyce Zempare NPP National Women Organizer Hopeful

The first Lady of Ghana, Her Excellency Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo has been commended by Hon. Joyce Zempare the current Greater Accra Regional Women’s Organizer who is also a National Women’s Organizer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party-NPP. She made this statement in a meeting with women delegates across the country in Accra on Tuesday 22 August 2017. The women had called on her to lend their support and also encourage her to be their political role model and keep on with the good work she is doing for the Party.

The National Women’s Organizer hopeful commendation followed a call by the first Lady of Ghana Her Excellency Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo for the extension of the current three months maternal leave to at least three-half months. Delivering a note on Monday 21st August 2017 to launch this year breastfeeding week in Takoradi, the First Lady said “the call would be in consistent with provisions in the International Labour Organization’s [ILO] Maternity Protection Convention of which Ghana remains a signatory”.

Hon. Joyce Zempare is both experienced and versatile Politician who has been a Party Executive from the Constituency and the Regional levels. She has served on many Committees at the National level. The experienced grassroots Politician who is a two-time Regional Organizer and a member of Communication Team of the governing Party, guarantees Quality Leadership in the Party when she is elected the next National Organizer. She humbly calls on all Party stakeholders to see her candidature as a surest way to consolidate the votes gained not only from women but the entire voter population for victory 2020.
