As it is known globally, Eid-ul-Adha or Bakrid is observed on the tenth day of Dhu al-Hijjah, which is the twelfth and the last month in the Islamic Calendar. The festival is celebrated in order to honour the sacrifices made by Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) due to his strong faith in Allah.
As we celebrate this holy festival today, so do I have a singular honour to wish our Moslem Brothers and Sisters a very happy and peaceful Eid ul-Adha. May Allah accept your good deeds, forgive your transgressions and sins and ease the suffering of all people around the globe.
Whiles we pray that Allah attends to the supplications of our dear Moslem family, I wish to urge them to remember *Ghana* as they communicate with Allah.
I am urging them to pray for *Peace, Protection, Love and Prosperity* for the country.
May Allah listen to our prayer and grant all our heart desires in this holy festive moment.
*HAPPY BAKRID !*
*EID MUBARAK !!!*
