On Tuesday, June 18 2019 the Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan Lawyer John Kumah attended the launch of YouthConnekt Ghana at the University of Ghana.
YouthConnekt Ghana is a physical and virtual platform deployed by the National Youth Authority in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme to link up the various youth innovations and creativity in areas such as ICT, Entrepreneurship, Agri-business, civic engagement among several others.
In my address the charismatic NEIP CEO mentioned that the current Government under the leadership of H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo remains committed to supporting and pioneering initiatives that support the empowerment of the Ghanaian youth.
He mentioned how the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan and the National Service Scheme piloted a program last year where 20 graduate entrepreneurs where posted to their own businesses to render their National Service.
In 2019, we will expand this program to several young people across the country, ensuring that graduate entrepreneurs do their national service at their own enterprises.
