Editor in Chief of Asante Kotoko’s official mouthpiece – Kotoko Express, Jerome Otchere has explained though there are challenges confronting the club’s media department, the main reason for the club’s failure to publish it newspaper to the public in recent weeks is due to the ongoing WAFU tournament staged in Ghana.
The chief editor of the newspaper in an interview with Kessben FM conceded there are number of issues which are frustrating for effective running of the Asante Kotoko media department especially with the Club’s newspaper stating as the Chief editor he’s written to the club’s management over the multiple challenges they’re left with.
Asked why the newspaper has not been on the market over the recent weeks expounded there isn’t much to report on due current break of the Ghana premier league due to the break.
“Because of the WAFU tournament – break, there isn’t much to report so we decided to break. Said Jerome Otchere.
The chief editor listed the break in the league due to the ongoing WAFU tournament as one of the many reasons to the club’s inability of publishing consistently.
The Ghana premier league is expected to resume after the grand finale of the WAFU tourney on 24th September 2017.
