Veep Bawumia To Nana B: Another Vibrant Youth Wing Will Deliver Resounding Victory In 2020

The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has asserted that the NPP, once again, will experience an emphatic electoral victory in 2020 taking into account the continued renewed energy among the Youth Wing inspired by the newly elected National Youth Organizer, Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B).

Alhaji Dr. Bawumia made this statement when the Youth Wing of the NPP paid a courtesy call on him in the Jubilee House on Monday.

According to Alhaji Dr. Bawumia, Policies being implemented by the government resonate with the youth and would improve their standard of living thereby gaining the government good-will in the sight of the youth.

He recounted the implementation of the Nations Builders Corp (NABCO), as one of the Youth focused flagship policies that will ameliorate the hardship among the youth by employing 100,000 of them.

Alhaji Dr. Bawumia was convinced that government’s policies such as Free SHS, Restoration of Trainees’ Allowance, the Presidential Pitch, National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (NEIP) among others will inspire the Youth to voluntarily campaign and vote for the NPP to stay in power for long in order to deliver prosperity to the ordinary Ghanaian.

However, he was quick to admit that these good policies will translate into positive electoral fortune if the National Youth Wing makes it their preoccupation to propagate and create massive awareness among Ghanaians.

He therefore charged the Youth Wing to cause the achievements of the government to permeate every facet of the country.

The resounding victory of the NPP in the 2016 general elections has been hugely attributed to its vibrant, dedicated and determined youth wing led by the then Youth Icon, Sammi Awuku.

On his part, the National Youth Organizer, Nana B in the company of All ten Regional youth organizer assured the Vice President of thier commitment to ensuring that the Youth wing is strengthened and empowered to deliver on the mandate given him.
