The Executives of the University Students’ Association of Ghana on Tuesday 5th November, 2019 paid official working visit to Youth Employment Agency (YEA) where they had an interaction with Lawyer Justin Kodua Frimpong, the C. E. O of Youth Employment Agency, Ghana.
Mr. Paul Abroakwa, President of USAG, together with his executives called for this collaboration upon seeing how keen it would be for students to enroll on campus and benefit from their training programs.
In a discussion on the YEA key point programs, USAG took the opportunity to bid in for students to be partakers of the YEA flagship programs.
In response, the C. E. O re-emphasised their readiness to support ideas of USAG and help students reach their desired goal for the nation’s growth through the strength of this youthful generation.
However, the entire student populace is assured that, this collaborative work shall roll down soon to harness and amplify the imbedded skills in students of our country.
The YEA programs which includes, the Job Centre, Artisan Directory and the Regional and District Flagship Programs, with an objective to support the youth through skills training and internship modules to transit from a situation of unemployment to that of employment.
The Youth Employment Agency exist to develop, coordinate, supervise and facilitate the creation of jobs for the youth in the country.
