VIDEO: Subin NPP delegates storm party office over MP’s failure to give them Christmas bonus

Some New Patriotic Party delegates at Subin Constituency in Kumasi in the Ashanti region stormed party office to demand for their locks up money from the Member of Parliament in the constituency Hon. Eugene Boakye Antwi.

The aggrieved delegates addressed their displeasures to Kesben FM Breaking News host by Ali Baba Dankabary.

 

They lamented that for over three years after the assumption into office of the current Member of Parliament, none of the members had received a penny as Christmas Bonus.

They indicated  that what revived  their furious was the disclosure Mr. Frederick F Anto made that, President Akuffo Addo  had given all delegates token as Christmas gift when they met for executive meeting at Amankwatia in Kumasi.

 

Nana Opoku, one of the delegates opined that countless occasion had they   attempted for the money but proved futile. Meanwhile some of the delegates are receiving payment he added.

There were other reports from delegates suggesting that Mr. Boakye Antwi who doubles  as Deputy Minister for Works and Housing had  suspended 250 delegates of which complaints are been sent to National and Regional executives for reconciliation and their coming back but had not yielded  any results.

The meeting which was held at Amankwaatia in Kumasi was attended by senior party officials including regional chairman Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako, constituency chairman Adusei Bonsu, Frederick F. Anto, Kumasi major Mr. Osei Assibey Antwi and Mr. Sam Cudjoe.
