Statement: NPP Regional Womens’ Organisers Felicitate President Akufo -Addo For Resolving A Normalcy In Dagbon

We officially write to congratulate the President of the Republic, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for overseeing a successful enskinment of Yaa-Na Mahama Abukari II, the overlord of Dagbon.

Also, we would like to express our profoundest gratitude to the first President to have succeeded from the Danquah- Dombo-Busia tradition , His Excellency President John Agyekum Kufour , for constituting the Committee of Eminent Chiefs in 2002 to come up with proposals with the two royal families for the State to implement.

We feel extremely happy because it is under the able leadership of President Akufo-Addo that has brought a lasting peace and finality to the Dagbon chieftaincy matters.

On this note, we say a very big thank you to the President for exhibiting a true sense of unity and we wish Yaa-Na Mahama Abukari II the very best of luck in all his endeavours.
