Sepp Blatter: FIFA’s top bosses suspended

FIFA’s top bosses were given a shock Thursday after the organization’s adjudicatory chamber handed president Sepp Blatter, UEFA President Michel Platini and FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke provisional bans.

FIFA presidential candidate Chung Mong-joon was also banned for six years and fined $103,000, seemingly ending his chances of succeeding Blatter in the 2016 election to determine who will lead the organization.

The bans for those four individuals come into force immediately.
