Press statement:Stephen Ntim’s Ramadan Message

I want to wish all Muslim brothers and sisters in Ghana, and elsewhere around the globe, Ramadan Kareem.

Ramadan or fasting is undoubtedly one of the five pillars of the Islamic *religion* which is binding to all believers in the faith, particularly, those who can observe it .

As it is clearly stated in the Glorious Quran *_” O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous”_* Surat Al-Baqarah 2:183.

Consequently, as you fast to fulfill this religious obligation, *kindly remember* the NPP in your prayers as you go through this one month period of cleansing. Also, do spare a word of prayer for me to win the National Chairmanship contest in our party.

The impending national conference of our party ought to be *organized* peacefully, devoid of acrimony, and would equally require your intervention through ceaseless prayers in this holy month .

I urge you to also pray for the government to succeed in carrying out it’s good policies and programs, which are necessary to develop the country and promote the wellbeing of all Ghanaians.

As you fast and offer prayers to Allah, may the Holy month of the revelation of the Qur’an usher into our country, *the many* bountiful blessings of Allah.

Upon your prayers, I believe we shall witness *increased* happiness, peace and prosperity in our country.

Let’s continue to pray for our great nation Ghana and our leaders for Allah’s bountiful mercies, blessings and protection as President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo *journeys on* to make Ghana a better place for all of us.

Let’s support the government to succeed, and in the end, mother Ghana would be the greatest beneficiary. *That* all citizens of the land, irrespective of their ethnic backgrounds, religion, status, colour or creed would live in peace and harmony.

Ramadan Kareem once again
