President Akufo-Addo’s Answer to the Homosexuality Question on Aljazeera was very Mature full of Deepest Wisdom and Knowledge—-CVM

President Akufo-Addo has once again demonstrated his unflinching faithfulness and truthfulness to the 1992 Constitution, Presidential Oath of Offfice & Oath of Allegiance and the Holy Bible he was sworn-in with as the 5th President of the 4th Republic.

Taking the Presidential Oath of Office and Oath of Allegiance on the 7th January 2017, Nana Akufo-Addo said: “I Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, having been elected to the high office of President of the Republic of Ghana do(in the name of the Almighty God swear)(solemnly affirm) that I will be faithful and true to the Republic of Ghana; that I will at all times preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the Republic of Ghana; and that I dedicate myself to the service and well-being of the people of the Republic of Ghana and to do right to all manner of persons.”

“I further(solemnly swear)(solemnly affirm) that should I at any time break this Oath of Office I shall submit myself to the laws of the Republic of Ghana and suffer the penalty for it. (So help me God)”

President Akufo-Addo’s answer to the homosexuality question posed to him by the Aljazeera Journalist was clearly in an agreement with Aricle 1 of the 1992 Constitution which states that: ” The Sovereignty of Ghana resides in the people of Ghana in whose name and for whose welfare the powers of government are to be exercised in the manner and within the limits laid down in this Constitution”

Ghana is a Secular State predominately made up of Christians Majority, Minority Muslims and Traditional African Religion. None of these Religions support homosexuality in the Country. Ghana is equally bless with a strong solid Culture and Chieftaincy Institution that is totally against homosexuality.

Unless the people of Ghana made up of Christians, Muslims, Traditional African Religion as well as our culture and Chieftaincy Institution accepts to push for the legalization of homosexuality in the Country no President, Parliament or the Judiciary can force homosexuality on Ghanaians. This was exactly the message that President Akufo-Addo communicated to the World through the Aljazeera Platform.

As indicated by President Akufo-Addo, legalization of homosexuality in Ghana is NOT one of the current demands, wants or needs of the people of Ghana and as such he is totally not interested as a President to raise the debate and acceptance of homosexuality in Ghana.

President Akufo-Addo’s answer was very thoughtful bearing in mind that he will not remain the President of Ghana forever or live forever on Planet Earth. President Akufo-Addo is against the legalization of homosexuality but what will be the position of those who will succeed him in the future?

Prof. Mills was against homosexuality but he is now resting in the grave. John Mahama was wining, dining and being sponsored by Andrew Solomon a Gay Activist but he is now resting in perpetual Opposition.

It is important to note that none of the Former Presidents of Ghana before President Akufo-Addo even made an attempt to further strengthen and tighten the laws on homosexuality.

President Akufo-Addo has demonstrated that Societal Values are not static but dynamic. The current generation of Ghana led by President Akufo-Addo is totally against legalization of homosexuality but what will be the position of the future generation of Ghana on homosexuality legalisation?

This demand the concerted and collaborative efforts from Christians, Muslims, Traditional African Religion and Chieftaincy Institution to continuously and consistently train, mentor and educate the younger generation about our strong Culture against homosexuality.

At least Ghanaians are forever grateful to God for having Akufo-Addo as the President of Ghana who doesn’t have a gay friend unlike John Mahama who was wining and dining with homosexual friends such as Mr. Andrew Solomon, a gay lobbyist.
