Abuakwa South Constituency: PINAMAA FOUNDATION Donate Sewing Machines To Youth In Four Communities

The executive director of Pinamaa foundation Mrs. Phillipina Akyea the wife of the minister and Member of Parliament for Abuakwa south constituency donated 14 sewing machines to 14 young tailors and dress makers who graduated yesterday 13th July 2019 .

In delivering her speech , Mrs. Phillipina Akyea congratulated the graduands for their hard work and encouraged them to be useful to their communities.

She touched on the unemployment problems facing the country and she believes that apprenticeship is also one of the key developers in nation building, in doing so the unemployment problem can reduce in the country she said.

In addition , she quoted a write up she saw on the Facebook that says ” the continent is capable of managing its own affairs ” with a hash tag projecting Africa .

According to her, the Pinamaa foundation will continue to assist the young people and the vulnerable once in the country.

According to her, the Association called her on mobile phone to discussed such important program and she deem it a great honour by the association and per their request 14 people are graduating so she has decided to provide them with 14 sewing machines as they begin their own enterprise.

The executive director of Pinamaa foundation Mrs. Phillipina Akyea , stressed on the “Ghana beyond aid ” according to her she pray that , the outgoing apprentices will also use the machines meaningfully .

She also edged young people to take advantage of the free training from GNATD and support from her association to work hard to become useful talents to the society and to become a source encouragement for other people in the community and the country as a whole.

The beneficiaries also showed a great enthusiasm and appreciation when receiving the machines and thanked the Pinamaa foundation for such important delivery and said they will use the machines meaningful to have Impact on other people in their various communities.
