The Peasant Farmers Association of Ghana (PFAG) will hold its round table conference on 2017 input subsidy program in the northern regional Capital of Tamale.
The event which is slated to come off from the 27th to 28th September at the University for Development Studies International Conference Center will be used to present the association annual report to it members and donor agencies as well as interest groups.
This year’s event is being sponsored by Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) which is an organization dealing with agricultural products in Africa.
Interacting with the spokesperson of PFAG and who also doubles as the program officer for this project mr Charles Nyaaba said the essence of choosing Tamale was to bring together all its members in the 10 regions who have being selected to monitor the government’s Flagship program planting for food and jobs.
He added that the Northern Regional Capital was chosen because it is regarded as a food basket when comes to farming and it will also afford the association to bring together stakeholders who matter in making the planting for food and jobs a very fruitful venture for its members.
