The National Union of Ghana Students represented by Kobby Otchere Marfo, Eric Asante Guggisberg and Micheal Ofori; Press and Information Secretary, Financial Controller and Treasurer respectively on February 8, 2019, participated in the 2nd Ghanaian-Hungarian Agricultural Forum at the Embassy of Hungary.
The forum was held in commemoration of the visit of Prof. Erika Michèlï, Head of Doctoral School of Environmental Sciences, Szen Istvàn University, Hungary and Researchers from the Hungarian Agricultural Research and Innovation Centre (NARIC) to Ghana.
It was a platform for NUGS to engage the professor in possibilities on educational and research cooperation for Ghanaian students studying Environmental Science, Agriculture and it’s related courses to help strengthen the agricultural sector of our nation, Ghana.
The Union engaged the professor and all stakeholders available on how best the Union can collaborate with the Szen Isatvan University, Hungary to secure scholarship opportunities for students interested in studying there.
NUGS is ever committed in ensuring that Ghanaian students access all the necessary opportunities in their academic and social life.
