Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez will be fit for their clash with Swansea City.
Benitez has missed training this week after undergoing surgery but is expected to have recovered in time to be in the dug-out at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.
The Spaniard, 57, reportedly had an operation in Cheshire during the international break for a matter related to a hernia procedure he had over two years ago, reports Wales Online.
Benitez had planned to return to work at the Magpies base on Tuesday, but he has not felt up to taking training and did not oversee the sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday.
There had been suggestions Benitez was in danger of missing this weekend’s Premier League clash with Swansea City in South Wales.
