NASPA Kumasi Metro Shares Love With The Intellectually Challenged

The National Service Personnel Association – Kumasi Metro shared love with the intellectually challenged people of life community special school on the 14th of February 2019.

Valentines day being a time for all to show love to each other, the NASPA KUMASI METRO Executives decided to share their love with life community special School which is located at Deduako near Knust.

Getting our motivation from James 2:14-16,“`”What use is it, my brothers, for a man to say that he has faith, if he does nothing? will such a faith give him salvation? If a brother or a sister is without clothing and in need of the day’s food, And one of you says to them, Go in peace, be warm and full of food; but you do not give them the things of which their bodies have need, what profit is there in this?”“`, NASPA KUMASI METRO feasted with our intellectually disabled brothers and sister in a way to bring smiles on their faces.

It might have not been enough as expected, but it was worth it. The President Emmanuel Kofi Antwi, made it known to the authorities of the school that NASPA KUMASI METRO will do their best to help the institution in some of their needs which were mentioned by the authorities during the program.

At the conclusion of the program held by our Noble association, the president, Mr Emmanuel Kofi Antwi, therefore called on to the Regional Minister Hon. Simon Osei Mensah and all stake holders to listen to the cries and needs of our intellectually disabled brothers and sisters.

We therefore call on the general public who can afford contributing to this institution to do so as the head master of this institution clearly stated, “Our doors are always open for everyone, each and every day and all kinds of contributions are welcome”.

The Executives of NASPA KUMASI METRO would want to take this opportunity to thank the almighty God, our directors both Regional and Metro, the authorities of Life Community Special school and everyone who contributed a pesewa to put smiles on the face of our sisters and brothers at Life Community Special School at Deduako, Kumasi to be precise. We say God bless you all.

It is our duty as humans to put smiles on the faces of others as we live in peace and harmony.

*God bless us all.*
*God bless NASPA.*
*God bless our homeland GhanaπŸ‡¬πŸ‡.*
