The Naana Hayford Foundation & Ministry (NHFM) has carried out the initiative to organise a training of a number of women in soap making and donated an extra large water coleman and amount of Ghc500 to support the start up business of Attaa Akosua of Abofo, a suburb of Offinso in the Ashanti region of Ghana as part of the organization’s social responsibility to show love and care to the needy in the society.
The soap making training which featured a professional cosmetologist took place at the premise of All Nation Resurrection Power at Kwadaso in the Ashanti and was objectively geard towards equipping women with the basic knowledge in soap making to support their routine activities and also to extensively serves as a job opportunity to interested individuals in the society.
Naana Hayford Domfeh, the Veteran Ghanaian actress cum broadcaster also known as Sofo Maame Naana Hayford in recent times has extended a hand to the handicap and needy in the society through a benevolent initiative which seeks to better the welfare of the sick, persons with disabilities, the aged and needy among other personalities in society.
Naana has had couple of donations to orphanages, aged, needy etc but regarded this as more touching support and noted, “ This one was very special for me because as I came across this woman who had her only daughter dropped out of the Junior High School following the mother’s sickness, I was very touched and very emotional and I’m very proud to be doing something for this family and the country.”
“The society aside government sustenance also needs support from individuals and institutions to aid in raising the standard of living among members in the society, I am for this reason exhorting all concerned citizens and organizations to extend a helping hand to the least marginalized in our societies so as to better the lives of those in need”, Naana appealed.
Naana, being a philanthropist optimistically anticipated a positive outcome of this seed money so as to reduce the burden of the family as it can be used to make money from the water selling business.
The benefitiary, Attaa Akosua expressed her heartfelt appreciations to the Naana Hayford Foundation & Ministry (NHFM) and prayed for God’s blessings. She pledged her commitment to put the given items into a profitable use to exalt the objective of foundation.
