Multi Credit Savings and Loans Limited, the oldest savings and loans company in the country and a memner of the Kessben Group is celebrating its 20 years of tremendous service in the finance sector.
The company was founded on August 9, 1999, as Garden City Savings and Loans Limited with only one branch at new Tafo a suburb of Kumasi.
The name Garden City Savings and Loans Limited was changed to Multi Credit Savings and Loans Limited in 2010 after 11 years of operation and to give it a national outlook.
Multi Credit was licensed by the Bank of Ghana (BoG) in 1999 in compliance with the provision of financial institution law (PNDC Law 328) to mobilize deposits from the public, grant loans and provide other credit facilities.
Since its inception, the company has grown and can boast of being one of the savings and loans companies in Ghana which provides loans to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) at minimal interest rates.
The savings and loans company has over 66 branches throughout the country with over 1500 staff and 400,000 customers.
The celebration will be marked with a week-long activity to celebrate old, new and potential customers in a grand style.
The activities include a health walk, blood donation and a deposit and win raffle draw which all starts on August 9, 2019.
Speaking on Kessben Tv and Radio, the C E O of Kessben Group, Mr. Stephen Boateng used the opportunity to call on the public especially those doing business with Multi Credit Savings and Loans Company to keep faith with the bank.
