The founder of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) has accused President John Mahama and his main contender in the 2016 elections, Nana Akufo-Addo, of making promises they cannot fulfil.
According to Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, the duo are taking advantage of the naivety of Ghanaians, especially during an election year, to scheme their way to power.
Nduom, a business magnate, said: “Nana Akufo-Addo is promising a factory in every district. John Dramani Mahama is promising millions of jobs. It can only mean one thing – we are approaching another election. So they are at it again, making promises they cannot keep.”
The PPP flagbearer noted there are several “fundamental problems” which require immediate attention instead of making promises which are difficult to fulfil.
