Hon Samuel Addae Agyekum, District Chief Executive Sekyere-Kumawu District in the Ashanti Region appeals to Ghanaians to come together, remain united and support His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and His government in the implementation of his flagship policies.
The DCE said this at Bomeng in the Sekyere-Kumawu District when he met the chiefs and elders of the town and the people in the community to explain government policies especially planting for food and jobs, planting for industries and investments, etc. He stressed on the assembly’s commitment to the implementation of the policy by providing one million cocoa seedlings to cocoa farmers in the District.
He seized the opportunity to educate the community on the need to pay taxes regularly to help in the development of the District which the commissioning of the the renovated 14-seater KVIP is evident. He commissioned the KVIP which had been abandoned for the past four years and appealed to them to take care and proper care of it. The DCE adviced the youth of the town to come together as one and seek for development, and refrain from deviant behaviours.
The Chief of Bomeng Nana Boakye Yiadom, on behalf of the town expressed his sincere, profound and heartfelt gratitude to the DCE and his subordinates for the swift action he took to get them functioning KVIP within six months in office. He promised that he and his people will rally support for the DCE when it comes to election of MMDCE’S and he contests.
