On Wednesday, May 8, 2019 the Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (NEIP) Lawyer John Kumah was the guest speaker at the launch of the 1st private formal angel investor company in Ghana. The company Quick Angels Limited, is located at Ring Road near the Provident building at circle.
Quick Angels, Ghana’s foremost formal and industrialized angel investor focuses on providing funding and strategic support to start-ups.
In his address, Lawyer John Kumah encouraged startups in Ghana to welcome institutions like angel investors who come in at crucial stages of businesses to invest in them for an equity stake. Quick Angels are funding startups in Ghana to grow not with loanable funds but equity taking interest, they also bring on board their expertise, connections, networking, and logistics to ensure that start-up thrives and succeed
The NEIP CEO commended the CEO, Mr. Richard Nii Quaye and staff of quick Angels for their foresight and contributions in filling a gap in finance for startups in Ghana.
He also appealed to Ghanaian start-ups to take advantage of the opportunities offered by Quick Angels.
After the launch, Lawyer John Kumah was taken through a tour of the impressive modern edifice which is currently serving as the office premises for the company.
