Kwahu Republic to create jobs through creative arts

The Kwahu Republic is set to make music and creative arts a priority to help enhance entertainment, culture, tourism and job creation in Kwahu and the eastern region at large.

The Music festival, which will be an annual event will be hosted in Kwahu Abetifi will feature both gospel, highlife and hiplife artiste across the country.

The objective is to increase  population of Kwahu to drive business through Education, Arts, Culture and Tourism whilst providing a platform for people to network and explore business opportunities.

This was disclosed by the master brain behind the project and Member of Parliament for Abetifi constituency, Honourable Bryan Acheampong.

According to the MP, music is one of the avenue for directing tourist traffics into a country, creating jobs and thus appealed for support from the people in making this project a reality.

He indicated that, the idea was borne out of the feedback they received when the team first  organised a music concert at Abetifi after the 2o16 elections.


The Kwahu Republic is the renaissance name for the Kwahu reawakening project.

The idea is to increase the population of Kwahu to drive business through Education, Arts and Culture and Tourism.

The Area has lots of primary, secondary and tertiary institutions, baby making weather and numerous tourist sites.

BLISS ON THE HILLS is the theme for the 2017 event.

The Kwahu Republic will organise Annual Music Festivals to unearth new talents, and promote these artist through the republic music label.
