Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak have been summoned to appear before the Ghana football Association’s disciplinary committee following a clash between the two teams supporters at the gate before Kotoko hosted Hearts at the Baba Yara stadium on Sunday.
Unusual of Asante Kotoko, their team’s bus last Sunday entered the Baba yara stadium through the exit gate of the stadium.
This however triggered the guest team, Hearts to have also insisted to enter the stadium through the exit gate which resulted to an aw scene.
The match commissioner of the game on the day captured the incident in his match report thus reported the incident to the Premier league board.
Following the report to the PLB, the board have referred the case to disciplinary committee of the football Association to sit on the case thus come out with the necessary sanctions.
The impasse lasted for approximately 15 minutes before the tempers were calmed among the supporters of Asante Kotoko who were agitating for Hearts to pass through the entry gate and the Hearts of Oak supporters who were insisting since Kotoko had passed through the exit gate their team should also enter the stadium through the exit gate.
