ASAMOAH GYAN RENDERS A QUALIFIED APPOLOGY |

Ghanaian international striker Asamoah Gyan has apologized for going AWOL before the Black Stars emplaned to Angola to engage the Palancas Negras in a friendly encounter which ended goalless in Luanda.Asamoah together with two others, Michael Essien and Sully Muntari refused to travel with the team on Monday to Angola and interestingly head Coach Milovan Rajevac was not informed as to the reasons behind their behavoiour.The issue incensed the Ghana football Association who sent out a release on the matter and immediately began to launch an investigation into why the players stayed away without permission from the coach. In an interview with peace fm, Asamoah Gyan was sorry about the situation which has raised a lot of eyebrows in the country with public opinion sharply divided on whether such players should be banned for their recalcitrant behaviour.
