I wont pay a dime if i were in your shoes – Hon. Kennedy Agyapong to Akufo Addo

The MP for Assin Central, Hon Kennedy Agyapong known for his vociferous nature expressed how furious he gets when most Ghanaians and the NDC keep blaming President Akufo Addo for the poor standard of living in the country.

The honourable MP made this claim today in an interview on Kessben FM’s Maakye show,sharing his view on how Ghanaians and the NDC are blaming the current hardship in the country on the NPP government and President Akuffo Addo due to the collapse of most micro finances and saving and loans.

He said “Akufo addo is doing his extremely best as far as governance is concerned and he has gone into contract with people affected by the collapse of several financial institution,asking for 3 years to refund their loss of which i would not have given them a dime if i were President Akuffo Addo.The President is just compassionate and should not be blamed under any circumstances” Hon Kennedy Agyapong stressed.

He went on to accuse the the National Democratic Congress(NDC) of being the course of the micro finance brouhaha which have led to the current state of the economy. According to him,Most of the collapsed micro finances and financial institutions were operating under the pretext of the NDC government then. And it were to these same micro finances that NDC government transferred their looted monies, the MP for Assin central continued.

Kennedy Agyapong urged journalist to take it upon themselves and investigate on how about 347 micro finances and financial institutions who were poor in terms of corporate governance were allowed to operate and dupe most Ghanaians under the NDC regime, the number of years it took such financial institutions to establish themselves and who their owners were,since that is the duty of every good journalist.
