Former Head Coach of Asante Kotoko, Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin has reveal his decis ion to sue the Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, George Amoako for misleading the public on his resignation.
The former head coach said, he is in talks with his legal team to advise him on his intended legal tussle with the CEO.
The CEO of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, George Amoako, has on various interviews stated emphatically that their former employee was given $50,000 by a south African team, thus his decision to resign.
“Paa Kwesi Fabin received $50,000 from that club in South Africa but he was in the media telling lies”
Paa Kwasi Fabin who believes the fabrications of the CEO is to tarnish his image and plans to take a legal action.
“I don’t want to talk much, because I have spoken with my lawyers to write to him (George Amoako), because I want to clear my name, it is making waves everywhere”
According to the former U-20 coach, he had a conversation with Dr. Kwame Kyei over the rumored South African deal of which he (Paa Kwasi) explained to him (Dr. Kwame Kyei) the signing on fee he intends to take before he joins them.
“I have not had any conversation with him (George Amoako), I only spoke with Dr. Kwame Kyei, and I was explaining to him the offer I have received from South Africa, which came without a signing-on fee, but if they include a signing-on fee of $50,000 I will accept and join them, this is what I told doctor.”
Coach Paa Kwasi Fabin who took over from Englishman Steve Pollack on Thursday, September 13, 2018 resigned as head coach of the club (Asante Kotoko) after seven months, citing his decision as a “personal conviction that it is time to bow out due to circumstances beyond control”
