I Nearly Stopped Music because of Frustrations – Gospel Musician

Sensational gospel musician, Nana Yaw Boakye known in the gospel fraternity as MOGmusic(Man Of God) is one of the hottest in the music industry but if he had followed his frustrations, his life could have taken a different turn.

The internationally recognized gospel musician in an interview with Mr. Bonez on Music Plus aired on Kessben Tv explained that he felt like giving up on music when all his efforts failed to give him positive results.

“A week to the release of the “Be Lifted” album, we were done with everything, but I called my accountant and told her I felt I won’t be able to continue with the music because I felt tired moving up and down, raising funds to finish the project and all that which was very tiring”
“So I told my accountant I couldn’t continue with the project anymore so she should throw the project away or put it somewhere when am ready I will come and work on it”
“So she was like, Pastor Nana Yaw, some of us look up to you for inspiration, and that statement she made, changed my mind”

MOGmusic found success in 2018 after doing music for 10 years but revealed he believes it was the time God wanted the world to notice his presence.

“am a music pastor, and have been doing music for the past 10 years, I have 3 albums to my credit, been in the system going up and down doing music but last year to this year are the times God deem it fit to get us to the world”

MOG started doing music as a child but wanted to do it professionally “when he received positive response from people”.

MOG has release “Fakye” a song originally written by pastor Joe Bechem and is yet to release an EP this year to his much-anticipated album which is slated to be released next year.
