Hon Afenyo-Markin Cuts Sod for Several Developmental Projects

The Member of Parliament for Effutu yesterday Feb 4, 2019, continued with the fulfilment of the developmental initiatives for the effutu community.
The MP began the day with a Sod cutting for a community centre and a Bio technology toilet at Ekroful a suburb of Winneba. He promise to extend his Entrepreneurship support program to benefit the women in the Ekroful community.

The NVTI/German Volunteers institute was the next place he visited with his developmental project. Teachers at this institution received a laptop each, as he made a sod cutting for an ICT center and two pavilions to help in the infrastructure needs of the school. Hon. Afenyo-Markin encourage the students to learn hard in their skills development since they form the artisans for Ghana ‘s development, he further affirmed his commitment to providing a bus for the School to aid the student in the area of transportation.

The university practice school at the north campus was the third place the Hon. MP for Effutu visited. He provided 150 desks to augment the furniture needs of the school. In his speech to the student he challenge the pupils to learn hard so they can also benefit from the FREE SHS. policy of government so that they too can become lawyers, doctors, engineers and useful citizens of Ghana. A sod was cut for the construction of a school library and an administration block.

The University practice school at the south Compus also received 140 desks from the all time selfless and hardworking MP.

The Hon Afenyo-Markin ended the day’s activity at the Adansi Park where he distributed to fish mongers a bundle of wire mesh each to help them in their fish smoking business. A total of 360 wire mesh was distributed by him as part of his entrepreneurship development program for Efftutu. At this event he stated that the beneficiaries should optimize the benefit it brings to their trade so that the can improve on their livelihood.

Effutu’s developmental agenda is on course with the Hon. Afenyo-Markin leading the Constituency.
