Communications director of Accra Hearts of Oak Opare Addo has reiterated Hearts as a major contender to win the Ghana premier league
despite trailing to league leaders WAFA by six clear points.
With 6 matches to wrap up the league season, the phobians are convinced they can leapfrog Aduana football clubs and WAFA to claim
the title after so many years.
Speaking to Kessben FM about their target inclined to the remaining fixtures in the league this season, Opare Addo stressed they’re still gunning for the ultimate though they sit third on the league log.
“Who said we’re out of the race? We’re still part of the race. We’re focused and are still in contention for the ultimate” Said
Hearts of oak will play as guests to their regional rivals Olympics in Accra on Sunday and be expecting Aduana and WAFA to slip to Inter Allies and Tema Youth respectively.
