“Heads must roll in the PDS saga” – Nurudeen Abass urges

The National Democratic Congress(NDC) Ashanti Regional Communicator, Nurudeen Abass today in the studios of Kessben FM,urged the NPP Government to punish any individual who neglected their duties leading to the financial loss to the state prior to the current Power Distribution Services(PDS) saga.

The vociferous communicator alleged that,His excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo didn’t award the contract to the four consortium, that is,TG Energy Solutions Ltd, Santa Baron ventures, GTS engineering services and TBK because they were qualified private companies but rather they being the financiers and friends of the NPP government.

He said”if you analyse the structure of the PDS contract, you could see that Santa Baron is linked to Sikkens and TBK to Oteng Gyasi, who are all friends of the President”.

Power Distribution Services was to be a reciprocate of the Electricity Company of Ghana which according to the American Government, failed to administer the purpose of its existence that is to produce reliable service. After identifying this problem, the American government under the initiative of millennium challenge compact aided Ghana but requested the support of other private companies which led to PDS.

The current PDS brouhaha according to Nurudeen Abass is a typical example of”lets create, loot and share”
