Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola has reportedly told friends that he’s willing to wait on the Manchester United job.
The Spanish boss announced earlier this month that he would leave the Bundesliga giants at the end of this season after three years in Bavaria.
The former Barcelona coach is the most sought-after manager in the world and there’s been widespread speculation that he’s already agreed a deal to join Manchester City.
However, the Daily Star report that he’s told friends that he’s willing to wait for the chance to succeed Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford.
‘Pep always found the club fascinating,’ a source told the Daily Star.
‘He likes clubs with huge tradition and United certainly have this.
‘He won’t be short of options when it comes to deciding his next move and Manchester City are an ambitious club. But United could still prove to be the more attractive proposition.’
