GIVE ME MY SHARE DADDY LUMBA – ISAIAH AMPONG

Isaiah Ampong known in gospel music expressed disappointment in Daddy Lumba denying him of his share after the launch of “HOSANA” album last year october.

Ampong voiced out his anger on kessben Fm Entertainment Circle hosted by Nana Yaw Opoku. He said since the launch of the Album, Daddy Lumba has refused to pick his calls to demand of the proceeds of the album launched at the National Theatre last year October 2015.

According to Ampong, Daddy Lumba offered to collaborate with him by singing a song in a form of thanks giving to God saving his life after suffering from severe sickness. He said he took Lumba to be his own father and did not bother to sign any contract with him.

He continued to explain that, daddy lumba made him borrow money from certain people to start the preparation of the launch since he was not fit to join him in the errands towards the show. He said after the program, Daddy Lumba ordered a guy called Roman Father to take the money they gained from the program home and i was expecting Lumba to invite me to join him in the counting of the money.

“I and my family sat down and calculated the total amount the fans contributed during the show which amounted to 2.2 million Ghana Cedis at the launching and by December last year 20,000 copies of  CD’s had been sold thus totaling  1.4 million Ghana cedis. But no accounts had been rendered to me and I definitely know that those fans who contributed at the show were my fans”.

Ampong took the opportunity to beg Daddy Lumba to give him his share, to pay the debt he incurred before the show because it’s his sweat that produced the album and deserves the money.

Ampong has expressed shock at Lumba’s attitude saying he Lumba has sworn never to misappropriate any money belonging to him.
