Ghana Bids For Secretary General Of The Pan African Youth Union (PYU)

The Republic of Ghana through the National Youth Authority will be contesting for position of Secretary General of the Pan African Youth Union at the 5th triennial ordinary congress in Khartoum-sudan.

The congress is expected to elect a new set of executive to run the affairs of the continental body for the next three years.
Ghana’s Candidate Mr. Ahmed Bening , a youth activists of global repute wiĺl lead the bid.
Meeting the president early today to brief him on the status of Ghana’s bid, H.E Nana Addo fully endorsed the candidature of Mr. Bening and wished him the best of Luck.

It is the first time Ghana will be putting up the bid for Secretary General of the PYU.
Ghana’s candidate has been involve in Youth and student politics over the past 7years and have built extensive experience and network within the Youth front in Africa.

He is the immediate past Secretary General of the West Africa youth organization and a member of the international organizing committee of the just ended Russia 2017.

He has in the past served as Education and democratization Secretary of the National union of Ghana students (NUGS) and program director of the All Africa students union (AASU)
