Former BOST MD Honoured For His Pioneering Role In The Creation Of Western North Region

Former Managing Director of Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation(BOST), Mr Alfred Obeng Boateng has been honoured by the chiefs and people of the newly created western North region for his enormous and immense contributions towards the creation of the region. The awards ceremony formed part of the maiden celebration of Asedakɛsiɛ festival ( creation of Western North Region)

Presenting the award on 28th December, 2019 on behalf of the chiefs and people of the region, the chairman of the Western North Secretariat Lt. Col. (Rtd) Aduhene recounted the countless supports the campaign team received from Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng prior to the creation of the western north region.

“Honourable ministers of state, Nananom, all protocol observed, kindly join me to say a very big thank you to this noble and industrious son of our land, in fact without him we wouldn’t have been where we are now and I can say it on authority that western north region came as a result of his enormous contributions.

He was the only person who donated a brand new Nissan pick-up to the secretariat towards the campaign, it didn’t end there, he made sure that we didn’t lack anything be it financial or material assistance, Alfred may God richly bless you,”* he said.

Present at the ceremony were the western north regional minister and his deputy, national security minister who represented the President of the Republic, secretary to the vice president, Paramount chiefs of the six traditional areas in the region, MMDCES and members of the general public
