Former BOST MD Donates To Adukrom Community For The Completion Of A Nursery School

The former Managing Director of Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST), Mr Alfred Obeng Boateng has donated building materials worth several thousands of Ghana Cedis to Adukrom Community in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality for the completion of a nursery school that had been abandoned for almost 5 years due to lack of funds.

In his speech, Mr Obeng Boateng said he quickly responded to the community’s request within one week because he was touched when he was shown the tree under which children of 2 to 5 years have been learning and more importantly when the Assemblyman, Mr Moses Fafaana narrated that there had been instances particularly during windy days where snakes had been fallen on these children and one could imagine the trauma associated with it.

In his conclusion, he stated that the community should do their best to assist the children in their education to prepare them well for better future.

The chairman of FRIENDS OF APPROACHERS, Mr Solomon Osei advised the skilful youth in the community to complete the building having got all the needed materials. Similarly the secretary of the group, Mr Joseph Amande advised them that if they complete the building on time that would motivate the executives of FRIENDS OF APPROACHERS to facilitate the other request before them.

The Assemblyman, Mr Fafaana thanked Mr Obeng Boateng and the executives of Friends of Approachers who accompanied him for the programme. He stated that Adukrom Community had never received such a kind gesture before and promised to be grateful to Mr Obeng Boateng and his group forever.

The chief of Adukrom town and its environ, Nana Adiyiah expressed his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Mr Obeng Boateng for the great honour done him and his subjects. He narrated that the community had appealed to different individuals and organisations both governmental and non governmental but for all these years none of them extended its support to them.

Nana Adiyiah said our request got to you last Sunday, 2nd September 2018 and you had provided us with everything within one week actually beat our imagination. He concluded that the only thing they can do in appreciation for now is to continue praying for Mr Obeng Boateng and his followers.
