The Director of Electronics Claims at NHIS, Dr. Philip Yaw Bannor presented the ten packets of roofing sheets on behalf of Saving Lives International,a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) to the Sekyere Kumawu NADMO office to support the victims of last two weeks heavy rain storm.

The severe rain storm that hit the nation misplaced over 800 people at the Sekyere Kumawu District, where over 200 houses including institutions were ripped off which need people support to relief some.

With this regard, Dr. Bannor who is also a native of Kumawu realized its was imperative to support his one people from this challenge and to put some smiles on the faces of the affected people.

Speaking to the Media, Dr. Philip Bannor was with the view that, Ghanaians must also do well to support the government in all areas since government alone cannot do it.

‘It is about time we come and help those affected because they need our help at this trying moment’ he said.

He appealed to the natives of Kumawu to come on board to support them.
The NADMO Director of the District, Mr. Emmanuel Obeng on behalf of the Assembly and the victims received the item and thanked Dr. Bannor for the kind gesture and the support.

He therefore called on the Well meaning Ghanaians to come to their aid in supporting these people.

NADMO has gotten nothing on their table to give to these people in terms of relief items.
