Darko Farms To Employ Over 500 Unemployed Graduates

The managing director, darko farms company limited, Rev Kwabena Darko has said that his company is ready to employ over 500 people to help support NaBCO.
On May 28,2018, co-ordinator for nations builders corps, Dr Anyar Ibrahim explained their readyness to employ over 100,000 graduates over seven sectors namely; Educate Ghana, Heal Ghana, Feed Ghana, Revenue Ghana, Digitize Ghana, Civic Ghana and Enterprise Ghana, according to the co-ordinator, the program is different from youth employment and has it interview date scheduled for June 4 to June 15, 2018.
Rev Darko lauded the government for taking the initiative to reduce unemployment in the country and promises to help the government by recruiting more people into his firm.
“The governement has really done well… at first we were employing about 500 people and today it reduced to 100 now we are about to renovate the place and it will make way for us to employ over 500 people within a year to help the NABCO” he said.
Speaking with Kessben media, the MD said they are ready to work with other farmers to help improve the poultry business.
“We are going to work with farmers who plant their own crops, we have 3 type of machines, one which is used to prepare food for the birds, one which is used to kill them and one which is used to hatch the day old chicks, we have all the three so we are readying to collaborate with farmers who have smaller farms, we provide them with food and the birds, then when they are of age we kill them and sell to our customers.”
