Dance hall songs have revived Ghanaian songs especially those composed by upcoming Artist said by Shatta Rako.
Rexford Kojo Amoah known in showbiz as Shatta Rako raised this issue when he was interviewed on Kessben FM Weekend Gruuv Entertainment by ‘DJ Roar’.
According to him, dance hall songs are currently in vogue that the fans follow and get interested in it.
However, he debanked the notion that has been portrayed by the elderly population as dirty. He continued to urge the producers and managers to sponsor them to transform Ghanaian music.
“He cited for example ‘Amakye Dede’s song “Obi Nkohwe Se Odoho Akyereno” and sang it a way in a different direction to impress the elders”
