Ghana has been saddled with what is arguably the worst energy crisis in the country’s history since independence.
This has led to people christening the situation “DUMSOR”. The word DUMSOR has gone as far as finding its way in wikipedia (the world’s largest encyclopedia) searches and Wikipedia defines it as, “Dumsor pronounced “doom-sore” (or more appropriately dum sɔ, “off and on”) is a popular Ghanaian term used to describe persistent, irregular and unpredictable electric power outages”.
This situation has led to public outcry and anger with some people going as far as destroying property belonging to the Electricity Company of Ghana as well as some of their staff.
The CEO of KBY Fashions Mr Boakye Yiadom has added his voice to the cancerous energy crises that has collapsed a lot of businesses in the country in some time past and deprived the citizenry of jobs.
Speaking to Kessbenfm.com in an interview the Artisan called on the government led by his Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to help them the artisans to acquire solar panels as way of conserving energy for industrial purposes as he is about to implement one district one factory as captured in his campaign manifesto.
