The Ashanti Regional Vice Chairman in charge of Operations, Hon.Alexander Attivor Sawyer has expressed his opinion on the rebuilding that has began in the National Democratic Congress.
The regional vice chairman who prior to the conclusion and subsequent submission of the Prof Kwesi Botchwey committee’s report to the party hierarchy, He had touched base with the grassroot and said in an interview that they needed discipline to unseat the New Patriotic Party in the 2020 elections.
He added that the defeat of the party could not be the fault of former president Mahama but rather it was a concatenation of errors and gross indiscipline on the part of some people in leadership of the party.
Honourable Attivor however cautioned that people whose behaviour caused the defeat of the party should change or face wrath of the party grassroot people.
On the 25th anniversary of the NDC party he congratulated the founder for the manner in which his presence energised the people and called for unity going into election 2020.
