Akufo Addo has no respect for the military – Dr Agyenim Boateng

Nana Dr Agyenim Boateng, the founding father of United  Front Party(UFP) has described president  Nana Akufo Addo as a wicked old man who has no respect for the Ghanaian Army.

According to the 2016 presidential candidate for the united front party, any soldier who voted for Nana Addo and his elephant party should say sorry for  himself or herself because his(Nana Addo)presidency doesn’t recognise the Ghanaian  army and other security agencies.

Gyataba, affectionately called, further noted that if Nana Addo has respect for the army he would have delegated his powers to the vice president Dr Mahamudu Bawumia or the foreign affairs minister, madam Shirley Ayorko Botwei  to represent him at the UN summit held in Germany and then observe the funeral rite of  Major Maxwell Mahama who was lynched at Denkyira Oboasi in the central.

He noted that Nana Addo’s failure to attend Major Maxwell Mahama’s funeral is a sign of disrespect to the Ghanaian army.

As commander in chief of the armed forces he should have stopped every assignment assigned him and observe major Maxwell Mahama’s funeral because  major Mahama’s death was as a results of  fighting a good course for the Nation. Gyataba added.

The fallen Soldier Major Maxwell Adam Mahama was lynched on Monday, May 29, 2017 by residents of Denkyira Obuasi on suspicion that he was an armed robber.
It was a day of sorrow when mourners and other sympathisers joined the family of the late Major Maxwell Adam Mahama at his residence in Burma Camp in Accra to mark the final funeral rite  of the passing away of their son.

Captain Mahama

Nana Agyenim Boateng who attended the funeral of the late major was surprised for not seeing the president Nana Addo at the late Adam Mahama’s funeral and said is a lesson to all the security agencies.
