Nana Akufo-Addo is to launch his 2016 presidential bid in London on Sunday, June 15.
According to an invite issued for the event by ‘Akufo-Addo for 2016’ UK campaign coordinators, the launch will take place at the Chestnuts Community & Arts Centre in Tottenham, North London, from 6pm.
The special guest of honour will be Nana Akufo-Addo himself. Guest speakers include Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko and Hon Samuel Atta-Akyea, MP for Abuakwa South.
The invite stated: “Indeed, Ghana deserves a leader who thinks of the next generation, not just about winning the next elections.
“It is incontestably clear that majority of Ghanaians have seen that the adventurous change of NPP government in 2008 has been a bitter failure and very disappointing. Today, the level of despondency amongst the majority of Ghanaians everywhere is immeasurable.
“We, Ghanaians cannot afford to deny our next generation of the best architect of their dream by denying Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo the leadership of Ghana. It’s time to go for the man of vision, the vision of good hope that is coming with a promise of excellence.
“The vision of Nana Akufo-Addo and his promises are full of plenary inspiration that will make no room for failure.”
