9/11 will be remembered as Ghana’s day of SHS liberation – Kamal Deen

The Nasara Coordinator of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Mr. Kamal Deen-Abdulai has stated that 11th September 2017 will go into Ghana’s history as the day that Senior High School education was “liberated from bondage of high fees and being a privilege for the rich few”.

According the NPP Nasara coordinator “The seeing to light the implementation of the free Senior High School policy despite all the negatives and badmouthing of the policy by the NDC is indicative of the party’s resolve to tackle the challenges confronting the country and deal with them heads on.”

Mr. Kamal Deen in a statement he authored following the launch of the free SHS policy by the president Nana Addo Dankwa said “The New Patriotic Party, though a center right party is noted for formulation and implementation of policies that have the ordinary Ghanaian at heart and has the youth in focus” citing Policies such as Capitation Grant, School feeding, MMT, NHIS, NYEP under the erstwhile Kufuor administration and One District, One Factory, One Village, One Dam, One Million dollars, One Constituency under the current regime as examples.

Mr. Kamal Deen added that implementation of the free SHS is indicative that the NPP government is “a government by the youth and for the youth” urging the youth in Ghana to continue to support the government to work to improve their personal lives and the country at large.

BELOW IS THE FULL STATEMENT

A GOVERNMENT BY THE YOUTH AND FOR THE YOUTH

“Leadership is about choices and I have chosen to invest in our youth and education.” – President Akufo-Addo.

The New Patriotic Party, though a center right party is noted for formulation and implementation of policies that have the ordinary Ghanaian at heart and has the youth in focus.

Policies such as Capitation Grant, School feeding, MMT, NHIS, NYEP to name but a few are all policies implemented by the NPP to help change the lives of the Ghanaian and most especially the youth.

The NPP’S Bold policies continue to directly effect positive changes in the lives of the people and the current NPP Government under the able leadership of H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo is meant to continue on the same positive tangent the Kufuor government took by taking measures to implement bold and challenging policies such as One District, One Factory, One Village, One Dam, One Million dollars, One Constituency etc.

The seeing to light the implementation of the free Senior High School policy despite all the negatives and badmouthing of the policy by the NDC is indicative of the party’s resolve to tackle the challenges confronting the country and deal with them heads on.

It is in light of this that I join millions of Ghanaians everywhere to salute the president and the government for seeing to light the FREE SHS Policy.

The policy is meant to shape the lives of our Ghanaian youth.
A policy that buys knowledge for the citizenry cannot be said to be bad no matter how hard some selfish NDC Politicians try to shoot down at the policy.

The many Ghanaians who are going to benefit from the policy are grateful to the president and the youth of Ghana will forever remember the president for such venture.

Indeed 9/11 will go into the history books of Ghana to remember and acknowledge as the day SHS was liberated from bondage of high fees and a privilege for the rich few by the Oseadeayo Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo
