Over 81 communities in Adansi South district to get electricity

Over 81 communities in Adansi South district in the Ashanti region is set to benefit from the rural electrification project before end of year.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for ADANSI south district in the Ashanti region,Hon.Benjamin says, government has awarded those contracts already.

According to him, out of the number, 50 communities in the New Edubiase constituency will be hooked to the national grid whiles the remaining 31,are also in the ADANSI Akrofrom constituency both under the Adansi south district.

At Anyaa-ManKata,the DCE cut sod for the construction of 1.no.6 unit class room blocks at Ghc 450,000 financed by Get fund whiles another sod was cut for the construction of a CHIP compound at Manang as well as the rehabilitation of District health Director’s office which was recently razed down by fire.

Hon. Anwhere revealed this at a ground breaking ceremony for rehabilitation of Wuruyie Primary school block which is expected to be completed within the next six months as well as a new satellite 5 shed market complex to be located at Wuruyie Junction  to help sustain the days market.


‘I am not saying that, successive government have not done anything but I can say that ,President John Mahama Government’s near 4 years  achievements is next to the first President of Ghana, Dr.Kwame Nkrumah’s government.’

He  urged the electorates across the country especially those in the area to vote massively for President Manama and the incumbent MP who is also the 2016,NDC Parliamentary candidate, Hon.Ernest Kofi Yakah to help NDC retain power to help bring more development.
