30 People Undergo Entrepreneurial Skills Training

Ama Pomaa Foundation is a foundation set up by the Honorable member of parliament for Juaben Constituency in the Ejisu/Juaben Municipality in the Ashanti Region to see to it that the youth in her constituency gets entrepreneurial skills to equip them in the society.


In a one day workshop organised by Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) at Fumesua in the Ashanti Region, Hon started with 30 trainees to get this knowledge. She said the youth must be creative and innovative in agriculture in order to be part of the flagship program planting for food and jobs. She said , the issue of traditional farming methods should now be relegated and concentrate on technological way of farming like mushroom farming and honey making not only for local consumption but rather for export. She concluded by saying that , there are a lot of Agriculture potentials in the youth of of her constituency and she will in turn support the youth to realise that dream.


In an interview with some of the beneficiaries, they expressed their sincere,profound and heartfelt gratitude to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and Hon Ama Pomaa for what she has done for them . They promised to keep and put the training into good use to help them build a prosperous future.

Professor Paul Bosu, Mr Elvis Nkrumah, Mr sylvestor Kuudaa and Mr Kwabena Prempeh Bandoh of forestry research institute who were the facilitators for the workshop urged participants of the workshop to put the knowledge acquired into good use to benefit the society.
